Recent transactions include advising McKeil Marine on its sale to TorQuest Partners, Johnson Electric on its $800-million purchase of Stackpole, Holcim on its US$50-billion merger with Lafarge and related divestitures, Suncor on the sale of its 50 per cent interest in Pioneer Energy to Parkland, Safeway on its $5.8-billion sale of Canada Safeway to Sobeys and BCE and Rogers on their $1.1-billion acquisition of 75 per cent of MLSE.
