Crae Garrett is a partner in the Calgary office at Norton Rose Fulbright and the head of the firm’s Infrastructure, Mining and Commodities business in Canada. He has many years of experience as a lawyer and investment banker. He primarily practises business law, focusing on energy, infrastructure, resources and mining. Mr. Garrett has a transaction-focused practice, with particular experience in Canada and emerging markets in South East Asia, Africa and the CIS, involving all aspects of resource transactions, and with particular experience in delivering successful transaction, infrastructure and structuring mandates in jurisdictions where the local business environment is unstable or has regulatory or other challenges. He is admitted to practice in Alberta, England and Wales and Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of Alberta, Law Society (England & Wales), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
