Canopy Growth filing of preliminary base shelf prospectus

On Feb. 23, Canopy Growth Corporation filed a preliminary short form base shelf prospectus in Canada and an S-3 registration statement in the U.S. enabling Canopy Growth to offer and sell common shares, subscription receipts, units, warrants or any combination thereof in one or more issuances for aggregate gross proceeds of up to US$2 billion. This is the largest shelf prospectus filing by a cannabis company.
