CIBC announced the appointment of Kikelomo (Kike) Lawal as executive vice-president and chief legal officer, effective Oct. 12. Lawal also joins the executive committee of the bank, which is headquartered in Toronto. She has more than 20 total years of experience as a leader, as a trial lawyer and as a transactional lawyer. She is licensed to practice law in New York, U.S. and in Ontario. She graduated from Harvard Law School.
