Hicks Morley Hamilton Stewart Storie LLP announced that Rebecca Liu has joined the firm as associate in its Toronto office, effective Feb. 10. Called to the bar in 2013, Liu’s practice covers the areas of employment law, human rights, labour relations and litigation. Acting on behalf of both private and public sector employers, she has handled legal matters such as grievance arbitrations, human rights complaints, wrongful dismissal claims, employment standards complaints and employment contract disputes.

The firm also announced that Lesley Campbell has joined the firm as associate in its Toronto office, effective Mar. 2. Admitted to the bar in 2017, Campbell’s practice includes employment law, human rights, labour relations, litigation and arbitration advocacy. She has advised private and public sector employers on a broad variety of labour, employment and human rights issues including grievances, wrongful dismissals, discrimination claims and harassment claims.

The firm then said that Jennifer J. Querney has joined the firm as associate in its Toronto office, effective Mar. 2. Called to the bar in 2015, Querney’s practice centres on employment law, human rights, labour relations, litigation and occupational health. She has represented private and public sector employers on a number of issues relating to labour, employment and human rights. Specific legal issues in which she has experience include grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, labour disputes, occupational health and safety, human rights and accommodation, wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals and employment standards.
