Lawson Lundell LLP welcomes new associates to its Vancouver office

Lawson Lundell LLP welcomes several new associates to its Vancouver office. Kayli Clark joins the firm’s Tax Group; Max Rudakov joins its Corporate Commercial Group; and Jisoo Vis joins the Corporate Commercial and China Initiative Groups. Jeffrey Hernaez joins the Civil Litigation group with a practice focused on commercial disputes.

Katie Comley has joined Miller Thomson LLP as an associate in the firm’s Vancouver office. With a background in the public sector, she has broad exposure to working with a large employer and in diverse sectors across British Columbia. In the Labour law context, she provides advice to employers on a wide range of matters and represents their interests in litigation

Her Employment Law practice involves advising employers on matters including the termination of employment, secondment agreements, and human rights issues such as discrimination and duty to accommodate. Comley has appeared before arbitrators, administrative tribunals, the Labour Relations Board, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the BC Supreme Court.

Also joining Miller Thomson LLP’s Vancouver office is associate Jada Tellier, in the Commercial Real Estate group. She collaborates with internal and external parties to ensure that clients’ real estate matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
