Oxford Properties Sells Office Tower

Oxford Properties Group Inc. sold the office tower at 630 René-Lévesque Boulevard West in Montreal to a buyer group consisting of an entity controlled by New York-based Centurian Management Corp., The Montreal Blue Trust and by a group of Montreal investors led by Redbourne Investments Inc. The deal closed on October 9, 2003, and its value is undisclosed.

The purchaser group and Centurian Management were represented by McCarthy Tétrault LLP, with a team that included John Sullivan, Stéphanie Gilcher and Stefan Fews. The Montreal Blue Trust was represented by Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP in Toronto and Montreal, with a team that included Greg Howard, Kent Beattie and Joseph Jarjour (commercial real estate) and John Ulmer and Duncan Osborne (tax).
