RMSenergy Dalhousie Mountain Completes $89M Financing of a Wind Farm Project

On February 10, 2009 RMSenergy Dalhousie Mountain LP completed an $89 million secured credit facility for the financing of a 51 megawatt nameplate capacity wind generation project comprised of 34-1.5 megawatt wind turbines located near New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. The project is currently under construction. The project's credit facility was arranged by The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, acting as agent and lender.

RMSenergy Dalhousie Mountain's limited partners are Firelight Infrastructure Partners L.P. (whose limited partners are Dundee Realty Management Corporation and OPTrust Power Fund Holdings Inc.) and RMSenergy Ltd.

RMSenergy Dalhousie Mountain was represented in Ontario by Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, with a team that included Ella Plotkin and Marc Lefler in respect of financing matters and Aird & Berlis LLP, with a team that included Scott Stoll, Andrew Wilder, Jeffrey Merk and Michael Bluestein in respect of corporate matters. RMSenergy Dalhousie Mountain was represented in Nova Scotia by Gregory Mullen of Burchell MacDougall in respect of corporate matters and Ian MacLean of MacLean & MacDonald in respect of real estate matters.
