Spiegel Sohmer Inc. has welcomed two new associates: Talia Bensoussan to the Business Law group and Alessandra Lubrina to the Litigation group.

Bensoussan practises in the areas of corporate, commercial and banking law. Her expertise is primarily transactional and involves complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations as well as venture capital and private equity financings. She is also frequently involved in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, particularly in the private financing field. Before joining Spiegel Sohmer, she worked at a national firm.

Lubrina’s fields of practice are civil litigation and family law. She is a member of the Legal Committee of the Liberal Party of Québec and ran for office during the 2018 provincial general election. Upon completion of her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, she pursued her equivalencies in Québec law from the University of Montréal.
