On August 13, 2007, Anderson Energy Ltd. completed an offering of 25,700,000 subscription receipts pursuant to a short form prospectus for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $100 million. Each subscription receipt entitles the holder to receive one common share of Anderson for no additional consideration upon the acquisition of certain oil and natural gas assets in the Pembina and Strachan areas of Alberta through the purchase of a whollyowned subsidiary of Pengrowth Corporation.
