On December 21, 2010, 20-20 Technologies Inc. (“20-20” or the “Company”), a leading provider of computer-aided design, business and software solutions for the interior design and furniture industries, held a special meeting of shareholders as requisitioned by a group of dissident shareholders led by Crescendo Partners II LP (the “Dissidents”).
At the special meeting, 69.24 per cent of the votes casted rejected the resolution presented by the Dissidents which sought to replace three members of the Company's current board of directors with Eric Rosenfeld, André Nadeau and Mark Burton.
20-20 was represented in-house by Yannick Godeau, General Counsel and by Stikeman Elliott LLP, with a team comprised Steeve Robitaille, Pierre-Yves Leduc, Luc Boucher and Andrée-Anne Arbour-Boucher.
McCarthy Tétrault LLP acted as counsel for the Dissidents with a team that comprised Iain C. Scott and Fraser Bourne.
