Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. (Alliance Atlantis), a leading creator, producer, distributor and broadcaster of filmed entertainment, announced on June 13, 2000 that it had completed a US$55 million Rule 144a exchange offering of 13 per cent senior subordinated notes issued privately in the US. The offering is from the same series as the US$150 million notes issued by Alliance Atlantis in November, 1999, bringing the total issue size to $205 million. The net proceeds of the additional issue will be fully applied to reduce shorter term indebtedness.
