On September 26, 2003, Denver, Colorado-headquartered Apollo Gold Corporation completed a public offering in Canada and a private placement in the U.S. and in Europe of 24,432,300 common shares, including 2,132,300 pursuant to the exercise of the agents’ over-allotment option, which closed on October 27, for approximately $55 million, including approximately $4.8 million pursuant to the over-allotment option.
