Barclays Global Investors Canada Limited launched the iUnits S&P/TSX Canadian REIT Index Fund, a TSX-traded fund that replicates the performance of the new S&P/TSX Canadian REIT Index. The Fund, which issues securities continuously, was launched on October 21, 2002 following the creation and launch of the Index itself. The Fund invests in the REIT’s included in the Index and distributes all of the income, gains and return of capital that it receives on the underlying investments.
