Berkshire Partners And Omers Private Equity Acquire Husky International From Onex

Berkshire Partners LLC, the private equity firm, and OMERS Private Equity Inc., the private equity arm of the OMERS Worldwide group of companies, acquired Husky International Ltd. from Onex Corporation for $2.1 billion.

Husky is a global supplier of systems solutions and related aftermarket services and components for the plastics injec-tion molding equipment industry and the leading supplier to the PET preform packaging industry.
