C-MAC Industries Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of integrated electronic manufacturing solutions, announced on August 9, 2000, a public offering in Canada led by Newcrest Capital Inc. The Canadian offering was made in conjunction with an IPO in the United States. Of the estimated net proceeds of $181,440,000 from the Canadian offering, C-MAC plans to use $50 million to finance working capital, the balance to be used to fund planned capital expenditures and C-MAC’s acquisition program.
