On October 5, 2010, Caisse centrale Desjardins, a cooperative owned by Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, completed a $600 million public offering of 3.502 per cent Series 2010-4 Medium Term Deposit Notes.
This $600 million offering is the second to be made by Caisse centrale Desjardins under the terms of a base shelf prospectus dated April 13, 2010, which provides for the issuance of up to $5 billion of unsecured medium term deposit notes with maturities of more than one year.
The Series 2010-4 Medium Term Deposit Notes were offered by a syndicate of dealers led by Desjardins Securities Inc., and including RBC Dominion Securities Inc., TD Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Casgrain & Company Ltd. and Laurentian Bank Securities Inc.
Caisse centrale Desjardins was represented in-house by a team from the Desjardins Group composed
