On November 2, 2006, Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) completed a loan transaction with a syndicate of lenders led by The Bank of Nova Scotia and Citibank N.A., Canadian Branch, as joint lead arrangers. The lenders provided CNRL with $3.85 billion for the purpose of assisting CNRL with its acquisition by Anadarko Canada Corporation.
