Canfor Makes US$200M Private Placement

On March 13, 2001, Canfor Corporation of Vancouver completed a private placement financing of US$220 million senior notes with the assistance of Salomon Smith Barney. Lawson Lundell’s Bill Dickson, Paul Bradley and J-P Bogden acted for Canfor. Day, Berry & Howard LLP’s Lewis Burleigh of Boston acted for the note purchasers.
