Business Transformation Services Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Canada Inc., and Ontario Power Generation Inc. entered into a 10-year, $1 billion outsourcing arrangement and formed a joint venture to deliver information technology services to Ontario Power Generation Inc. The joint venture, called New Horizon System Services, was formally launched on February 1, 2001 and is 51 per cent owned by Business Transformation Services and 49 per cent owned by Ontario Power Generation. The joint venture employs approximately 700 full-time and contract staff.
