On December 23, 2009, CBC Monetization Trust completed the offering of $135,700,000 4.688 per cent Amortizing Notes due 2027. CBC Monetization Trust was established as a trust to acquire interests in certain promissory notes, property leases and related security from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Upon completion of the offering, the proceeds of the offering were used by CBC Monetization Trust to acquire such assets from CBC. The offering was made in each of the provinces of Canada through RBC Dominion Securities Inc., as agent.
