On March 27, 2008, Centenario Copper Corporation, a company with copper projects in Chile, completed an offering of special warrants for gross proceeds of $58 million. The offering consisted of 10,000,000 special warrants, which will automatically convert into an equal number of common shares of Centenario. The common shares of Centenario are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “CCT.”
The bought deal offering was led by Canaccord Capital Corporation and BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. with an underwriting syndicate composed of Toll Cross Securities Inc., Raymond James Ltd. and Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd.
