Certicom Completes $43.75M Offering

Certicom Corp. completed an offering of 3.5 million common shares on a bought deal basis on March 26, 2001, at $12.50 per share, for gross proceeds of $43.75 million. Certicom is a leading provider of information security software and services, specializing in solutions for mobile e-business.

Certicom was represented by Jonathan Grant, Stuart Miller and Ian Michael of McCarthy Tétrault. Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP acted for the underwriters, led by Yorkton Securities Inc., with a team that included Jeff Lloyd, Frank Arnone, Jo-Anne Matear and Chris Hunter.
