CMC Electronics Acquires Flight Visions

Quebec-based CMC Electronics Inc. acquired, through a merger, Illinois-based Flight Visions, Inc. The deal closed on July 3, 2002, and its value is confidential. CMC Electronics was purchased by ONCAP LP (a subsidiary of Onex Corporation) and other financial investors (including Onex).

Torys LLP acted for ONCAP in the initial purchase of CMC Electronics, and for both ONCAP and CMC Electronics in the purchase of Flight Visions, assisted by CMC Electronics in-house counsel Jean-Denis Roy.
