On December 27, 2007, DEGI INTERNATIONAL purchased from the Broccolini Group a building known as the “Telus Tower,” and located at 215 Slater Street in Ottawa. The building, being a 109,000 square foot, Class AAA office tower, is fully leased to Telus Communications Inc. and is the first Silver LEED designated building in Ottawa. The designation involves using environmentally friendly building materials and meeting rigorous energy efficiency standards. The acquisition price was $66,500,000.
