Deluxe Completes Acquisition of Post Production and Rainmaker Visual Effects Operations of Rainmaker Income Fund

On January 8, 2008, Deluxe Vancouver Ltd. (Deluxe), a division of the Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., announced that it had completed the previously announced acquisition of the post production and visual effects operations of Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. (Rainmaker), a division of Rainmaker Income Fund, along with Visual Effects UK Limited, Rainmaker's visual effects operation in London, England, for approximately $31 million. The purchase did not include the Rainmaker Animation division based in Vancouver. Deluxe applied and received approval for the acquisition from the Minister of Canadian Heritage under the Investment Canada Act.
