Devon Acquires 50% Interest in BP Canada's Pike Oilsands Properties

On June 29, 2010, BP Canada Energy Company and its affiliates and Devon NEC Corporation closed a transaction under which Devon, for consideration of US$650 million, acquired a 50 per cent interest in BP's Pike oilsands properties and Devon and BP entered into a joint venture agreement for the development of those properties. The joint venture will be operated by Devon.
