Digital Colony, the global digital infrastructure investment platform of Colony Capital, Inc., and a leading investor, owner and operator of companies enabling the next generation of mobile and Internet connectivity, acquired Beanfield Technologies Inc. (Beanfield), an independent bandwidth infrastructure provider serving the enterprise, carrier and multi-dwelling unit markets in Toronto and Montréal through its owned fibre network. The move allows Digital Colony to increase Its fibre footprint in Canada’s Two Largest Metropolitan Areas.
The acquisition was partially financed through loans made under credit facilities arranged by affiliates of TD Securities (USA) LLC, Royal Bank of Canada and SunTrust Bank (collectively, the Joint Lead Arrangers).
