On October 2, 2003, EnCana Corporation closed an offering of US$500 million 4.75 per cent notes due in 2013 under a shelf registration statement for US$2 billion of debt securities established on August 23, 2002 under the Canadian/ U.S. multijurisdictional disclosure system. Citigroup Global Markets In.c and UBS Securities LLC acted as joint lead managers in connection with the offering.
