On March 12, 2007, EnCana Corporation completed a public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount medium term notes. HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. and TD Securities Inc. acted as joint lead dealers for the offering.
The offering was made in Canada under EnCana's previously filed short form base shelf prospectus dated August 31, 2005. Pursuant to the program, EnCana was able to issue medium term notes from time to time during the following 25-month period.
