First Uranium Completes $61M Bought Deal Private Placement

First Uranium Corporation completed a $61 million bought deal private placement of units on February 11, 2009 through a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and including RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc.

First Uranium was represented by Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP with a team that included John Sabine, Sander Grieve, Linda Misetich, Maja Czubernat and Liz Fraser.

Stikeman Elliott LLP was counsel to Macquarie with a team comprised of Maurice Swan, Peter Laflamme and Rhoda Aylward.
