On February 14, 2006, Gaz Métro Plus Limited Partnership, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaz Métro Limited Partnership, and Dalkia Canada Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French corporation Dalkia International, formed a new 50/50 joint venture under the name of CDH Solutions & Operations. The joint venture will oversee the expansion of Climatisation et chauffage urbains de Montréal, as well as promote the acquisition or development of district heating and cooling plants in major cities in Canada. All amounts of the transaction are undisclosed.
