On May 2, 2006, GE Capital Canada Funding Company issued $750 million of medium-term notes in two tranches, $350 million of 4.75 per cent notes due May 2, 2011 and $400 million of 5.10 per cent notes due June 1, 2016. All notes are guaranteed by General Electric Capital Corporation.
