GE Capital Canada Funding Company issued a total of $1 billion medium term notes in two tranches, $750 million on April 23, 2003 and $250 million on April 28. All notes are guaranteed by General Electric Capital Corporation. GE issued $750 million of 5 per cent notes due April 23, 2008 and an additional $250 million of floating rate notes due April 28, 2005.
