On October 1, 2004, BHM, a subsidiary of Sweden-based Getinge AB, completed its acquisition of BHM Medical Inc. (BHM Medical), based in Magog, Quebec. The purchase price is confidential.

BHM Medical is a world leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of patient handling equipment. BHM Medical becomes a key strategic element of Getinge’s extended care division.
