GFL Environmental Inc. acquired Tri-Line Disposal Inc. and Deuce Disposal Ltd. from Contrans Group Inc. for approximately $72 million in cash.
Tri-Line and Deuce Disposal are waste collection companies with operations in Edmonton and Slave Lake, Alberta respectively. GFL Environmental was represented inhouse by Joy Grahek, Vice President, Legal; and by Stikeman Elliott LLP with a team including Jeffrey Singer and Timothy Chubb (M&A) and Marc Simonik (real estate).
