Gosfield Wind Financial Corporation, a subsidiary of Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners LP, entered into a credit agreement providing for a secured credit facility of over $130 million to refinance the operation and continued development of a 51 megawatt nameplate capacity wind generation project. The project comprises 22 wind turbines, which are located in Essex County, Ontario.
The project is directly owned by Gosfield Wind Limited Partnership, a full recourse guarantor. The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. acted as co-ordinating lead arranger, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and Siemens Financial Ltd. together acted as co-mandated lead arrangers, and Laurentian Bank of Canada acted as senior managing agent. The lenders include Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Canada), Siemens Financial Ltd., and Laurentian Bank of Canada.
