On May 31, 2011, H&R Real Estate Investment Trust and H&R Finance Trust (collectively, H&R) completed a bought deal financing pursuant to which they issued $200,014,500 of H&R stapled units. The stapled units were sold to a syndicate of underwriters co-led by CIBC World Markets Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, and included TD Securities Inc., BMO Capital Markets, Scotia Capital Inc. and Canaccord Genuity Corp.
The net proceeds of the financing will be used by H&R to fund development projects, property acquisitions and for general trust purposes.
