On October 3, 2003, Southbridge, Massachusetts-based Hyde Manufacturing Co. acquired Berthierville, Quebec-based A. Richard Ltd. Hyde Manufacturing acquired A.Richard’s entire worldwide hand tool design and manufacturing business for an undisclosed amount. Among the assets acquired by Hyde are the intellectual properties and production assets comprised in A. Richard’s hand tool manufacturing business, including the A. Richard Berthierville manufacturing plant. Goulet Bowker & Assoc. acted as financial advisors.
