On March 1, 2002, Montreal-based Intertape Polymer Group Inc. raised just over $79 million through a bought deal offering of 5.1 million common shares to a group of underwriters led by HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. Intertape Polymer, a manufacturer and seller of plastic and paper-based packaging products and systems for industrial and retail use, has plants in 20 North American and European locations.
