Los Angeles, California-based JAMDAT Mobile Inc., a provider of wireless entertainment, indirectly acquired the assets of Jeux Hexacto Inc., a provider of Palm and Pocket PC and next-generation 3G phone platforms games. The deal closed on July 3, 2003 and its value is confidential. As a result of the acquisition, JAMDAT will add Hexacto’s entire library of original and branded titles to its slate, integrate Hexacto’s Montreal-based development team into its publishing business and broaden its leadership to additional mobile entertainment platforms.
