On October 19, 2006 Kereco Energy Ltd. and Chamaelo Exploration Ltd. completed a plan of arrangement whereby Kereco acquired all the issued and outstanding common shares of Chamaelo for approximately $300 million. Kereco is a Canadian growth-oriented energy company engaged in the exploration, development and production of natural gas and crude oil.
