Kingsway Completes NYSE Interlisting and Offering

Kingsway Financial Services Inc., Canada’s leading non-standard auto insurance underwriter, completed both an interlisting on the NYSE and a public offering of 5,750,000 common shares for total gross proceeds of $71,875,000 on July 12, 2001. The underwriters of the offering were HSBC Securities (a subsidiary of HSBC Bank Canada), CIBC World Markets and Scotia Capital Inc. Acting for Kingsway were Michael Slan, corporate secretary and general counsel, Monique Rabideau and Eric Roblin of Fogler, Rubinoff LLP. Assisting Kingsway in the United States were Janet Love, David Seghetti, Eric von Deck and Jason Krellner of Chicago’s Lord, Bissell & Brook.
