LexisNexis Butterworths Canada Acquires Quicklaw

On July 15, 2002, Butterworths Canada Ltd., part of the LexisNexis Group, completed its acquisition of Quicklaw Inc. LexisNexis is part of Reed Elsevier Group plc. The value of the deal is undisclosed.

The van Tulleken Company, information and media M&A specialists, advised the shareholders of Quicklaw. KPMG acted as advisors to the shareholders of Quicklaw.
