On October 3, 2002, McCain Foods (Canada), a division of McCain Foods Limited, acquired Wong Wing Foods Inc. Of Montreal, Canada's leading manufacturer of frozen authentic Chinese entrées, egg rolls and dim sum. The transaction consisted of purchasing all of the issued and outstanding shares of Wong Wing from the Wong family. The financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
