On July 2, 2019, McInnis Cement closed a $500-million private capital refinancing $1.5-billion project to build a cement plant and several marine terminals and the recent $500-million private capital refinancing, of which $300 million of the funds were provided through an increase to McInnis Cement’s senior loan facility, and $200 million was provided by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Beaudier Inc.
McInnis Cement is a privately held company with corporate headquarters in Québec, Canada, with its United States headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The company’s plant in Port-Daniel–Gascons, Canada is the first new cement plant to serve Eastern Canada as well as the U.S. Eastern seaboard and Great Lakes region in more than 50 years.
