On August 6, 2010, MEG Energy Corp. (“MEG”) closed its initial public offering of 20,000,000 common shares at a price of $35 per share for gross proceeds of $700 million.
MEG is focused on sustainable in situ oil sands development and production in the southern Athabasca region of Alberta.
