On May 22, 2002, Menu Foods Income Fund completed its $129 million initial public offering of 12.9 million units of the fund. Proceeds of the offering were used to indirectly acquire Menu Foods Limited, the leading manufacturer of private label wet pet food in Canada and in the U.S.
