Methanex Corporation closed a public offering of US$250 million of 5.25 per cent senior notes due 2022. BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and RBS Securities Inc. acted as joint book-running managers. The offering was made in the United States under Methanex's previously filed base shelf prospectus dated November 10, 2011. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Methanex is the world's largest supplier of methanol to major international markets.
