On June 17, 2011, Metropolitan Life Global Funding I completed an underwritten private placement of $325 million principal amount of floating rate notes due 2014 secured by a funding agreement issued by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The notes were issued under Metropolitan Life Global Funding I's $25 billion Global Notes Issuance Program and have been listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
The joint leads and bookrunners for the private placement were CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and TD Securities Inc., with RBC Dominion Securities Inc. acting as co-manager.
